RULES & GUIDELINES FOR SMOOTH SAILING

Rule number one, obviously, is to have fun. Alas, there are a few more things to know before you row.

Floating Yoga FAQs

What do I wear?

Anything you are comfortable doing a downward dog in and potentially getting wet! Most people wear athletic leisure.

Am I going to get wet?

Being on the water, there is always a chance! That being said, we have few people actually fall in - most choose to dip their feet in to cool off in the summer months.

Do I need to wear my life jacket?

Lifejackets will need to go with you on your SUP, but are a personal preference to be worn. If you cannot swim, we highly recommend wearing the lifejacket.

How long is the class?

The class is 1 hour in total and includes time to get settled, safety instructions, a short paddle to our private inflatable island and a 40 minute yoga flow

How many people are in each class?

For public classes we like to keep it small! Thus we limit the class size to 12 people. For private classes we can accommodate up to 24 individuals.

Is there a minimum age you have to be to participate?

You must be at least 13 or older to participate. Anyone younger than 16 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

Can you bring your pets to class?

Its best if your furry friend stays at home for this one!

Can people use something other than a SUP for the class?

SUPs are the only equipment that attach to our island. We also find that yoga is difficult in a canoe 😉
