Recommendations/Rules :

  • Dress comfortably, and in something that can get wet. While the likelihood of tipping your kayak is slim, you might get splashed a bit.
  • Don’t take anything with you that you cannot live without. Cell phones, purses, wallets, are best left in your car out of sight.
  • Bring water or something to drink. There is no alcohol or smoking on the trip, but water or a snack are recommended. We have water and Gatorade for sale at Rowing Dock.
  • While this event is for all ages and abilities, please remember that it is a 4 mile paddle there and back. This will include about an hour to the bridge, half an hour with the bats, and an hour return trip. It is fun and enjoyable for all. Rowing Dock guides will employ a “no one left behind” rule.
  • Kayaks only. No Stand-Up Paddle Boards or Paddle Boats.
  • No one under 18 without parental consent. Under 13 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

There is limited space for these trips, so sign up soon.
